Guilty Confession

I have a confession to make. I miss the Washlet. More than I ever thought I would.

What's a washlet, you ask? A crazy Japanese toilet seat that, with a mixture of a heated seat, warm water and air, takes every bathroom experience to a new level of decadent cleanliness. And, as their website says, "Clean is Happy"! And they even have pictures of happy little tushies to prove it!

Anyway, my brother and sister-in-law experienced a Washlet on a trip to Japan, came home and discovered they could buy one in this country, and now have Washlets in both their bathrooms! We made horrible fun of them at first, but now that I've experienced the Washlet, I have to say, it's just really......nice!

But, sadly, I'm back at home now, with my normal, unheated, no-warm-water potty. Reality bites.
