One of the best parts about living in Chapel Hill is the easy access to local food and farmers. The Carrboro Farmers' Market is a great market; Maple View Farm has great milk (and ice cream!), and there are enough farms within easy driving distance that there's a farm tour each year.
One of the things I do is subscribe to an email newsletter from Peregrine Farm in Alamance County; part of why I do it is because it's cool to see where the food and flowers come from, and part of why I do it is to see what they'll have at the market on Saturday.
Right now, they're mainly stocking flowers, and it occurs to me that lots of flower names sound like spells from Harry Potter: Ranunculus! Delphinium!!! Viburnum!!!!!
And poof, Ron turns into a bouquet and gives himself (figuratively, at least) to Hermione.... :-)
