Today's the last day of school; the kids are both excited and nervous, but eventually I got them out to the bus stop.
Then I hear Grace calling, "A little help here!!!" I go to the door to see what's up, and I see her bringing Jack (one of Kathy's kitties that I'm keeping for a bit) back inside the house.
Wait, BACK inside????? Jack and Dusty are both INSIDE kitties already, they don't GO outside!!!
Well, they do today. The kids didn't shut the front door well, and the boys decided to explore.
Now, keep in mind at my bus stop are usually about 6 or 8 kids, a parent or two, a dog, basketball games, and much yelling. I was expecting the boys to be long gone.
Luckily, though, they were not -- they did what most inside cats do when they get out: Freeze in amazement! Jack was already inside by the time I figured out what was going on, and I got Dusty in with more or less no problem. He was a smidge traumatized, but I think that was from me hauling him over the stoop bannister by the scruff of his neck! Poor boy -- he was just sitting smelling the trees and leaves, and Crazy Woman grabs his loose fur and tries to shove him through the spaces in a bannister!
It's always something when the boys are here.....
