It's Tuesday, which means I don't have impressionable children to feed, which means I can eat exactly what I want!
Tonight it was brussels sprouts with butter, salt and pepper, sourdough bread, olive oil with oregano, basil and fresh ground pepper to dip the bread in, and a glass of wine.
And, I just realized that, with the exception of the wine, the description above sounds an awful lot like the lunches that Albert used to take (and Frances eventually took) in Bread and Jam For Frances. Except they would've had a fancy dessert, like a small custard cup, and a little spoon to eat it with.
Yum!
