It's Alive! It's Alive!!!!!

Well, sort of.

For those who have wondered where I've gone since I had my yummy fall breakfast, it's been a lousy several days.

If you remember, I woke up not feeling so hot on Saturday, so I had my Yummy Fall Breakfast, and eventually went off for Peter's football party. When his party was over, I went back home, and hit the couch. Not that unusual for a sunny Saturday, especially when there's Carolina football on. But, I pretty much have stayed on the couch or in my bed ever since.

I don't know what this virus is, but it is beating the ever-loving H-E-Double Hockey Sticks out of me. I did manage to dress myself yesterday, but that was only because my kids needed food (Such a good Mom! Such a Martyr!). Today I got up and showered, got dressed, and promptly decided I wasn't going to work today. I managed to get my kids off to school (even had to drive Grace), then came back and hit the couch.

The sad thing is, I've been doing everything right! Drinking lots of fluids (I even made Chicken Soup), having my tea, taking my Vitamin C, spraying my nose with saline...All of it! And I still feel like poop! As my old college roomate used to say, I feel like Death taken out of the freezer and not even THAWED yet!

Hmph. I'm ready to be well now.
