Tonight was mildly crazy; the kids had a choir dress rehearsal for their musical from 5:30 - 7:00. I'm a stage hand for this one, so I had to be there, too. The kids did well, and it was a good rehearsal, but long, and anytime there are dozens of 5-11 year olds, life gets hectic. But, by quarter past 7 we were done, and ready for dinner.
Grace had picked the menu tonight; salmon grilled with cedar planks, potatoes, and green beans. Luckily, it's a fairly quick dinner; and one the kids really like.
So, I got to grill (with wine, not beer!), we ate outside, and then hung out in the hammock and watched the stars come out!
What fun!
